The Star Lausanne Hockey Club was a Swiss ice hockey club from Lausanne that was founded on February 7, 1923. In 1941 the club moved to the newly built artificial ice rink in the Montchoisi district and in the course of this merged with the ice hockey team of the Lausanne University to form the Montchoisi HC . This new club played from then on partly under the name Blue Star , before the former members of Star HC decided to spin-off in 1958.
Star Lausanne played in the third class first division until 2016 . In 2009 the club became league champions and took part in the promotion round to National League B , but lost there in the final to hosts EHC Frauenfeld with 1: 3.
In 2016 the merger with HC Forward Morges followed to form the new Club Star Forward . In the 2017/18 season, the club was included in the newly created MySports League .
