The menhir of Ermida near Ponte da Barca in the Peneda-Gerês National Park in northern Portugal was discovered in 1981 built into a wall. The approximately 1.4 meter high, anthropomorphic menhir belongs to the rare genus of female statue menhirs . With the breasts marked by concentric circles , it shows clear attributes of femininity and has a ladder tape pattern on the body.

A found association is not known. Due to stylistic criteria, the piece is dated to the second half of the 3rd millennium BC. BC, i.e. dated to the Copper Age.

The menhir is located in Portugal's smallest museum, in Ermida , around 18 kilometers east of Ponte da Barca, which has only been accessible via a road in the last few decades.

Other female menhirs are from Ammendres, Crato, Quinta da Couquinho and Vale Maria do Meio.
