Stefan Andreae

Stefan Andreae (born August 22, 1931 in Graz ; † February 2011 ) was a German Roman Catholic pastoral theologian .

Stefan Andreae, son of the economist Wilhelm Andreae and the writer Illa Andreae , studied Catholic theology and was ordained a priest. He was born in Rome in 1960 with the dissertation “The promise of the Paraclete according to the exegesis of St. Augustine ”. On July 9, 1970 he completed his habilitation under Heinz Fleckenstein at the University of Würzburg and was a private lecturer there until the winter semester 1972/73. In 1972 he became head of the pastoral psychological counseling service of the Archdiocese of Cologne . Since 1973 he has been an adjunct professor for pastoral theology at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Bonn . He also worked as a pastor at St. Antonius in Seligenthal (Sieg) until 1991. Then he married.
