Stefan Fahrad (born July 24, 1980 in Novotschanowo , Soviet Union ) is a former German basketball player in the Bundesliga. He played 106 Bundesliga games for BG Karlsruhe and EnBW Ludwigsburg and was runner-up with EnBW Ludwigsburg in the 2007/2008 season. In 2011, he ended his career as a professional athlete early due to a knee injury. In the meantime he works as a teacher at the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn-Gymnasium for the subjects mathematics and sport. Since 2013 he has been a lecturer for basketball at the Institute for Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Stuttgart.

In his free time, Stefan Fahrad trains the youth team at EnBW Ludwigsburg and runs a basketball club at his school.
