Stefan Huth

Stefan Huth (* 1967 ) is editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper Junge Welt after having worked there for years as head of the domestic department.

Life

Stefan Huth studied German and English at the Free University and the Humboldt University in Berlin. He worked at the Berlin Institute for Critical Theory (InkriT) and was a research assistant for the musicologist Georg Knepler (1906-2003). In autumn 2002 he came to the Young World and worked there initially in the "Action Office". In 2004 he took over the "Topic" department as a substitute and headed it from 2005. He later moved to the "Inland" department. From 2012 Stefan Huth worked in the editor-in-chief. In August 2016 he took over the role of editor-in-chief from Arnold Schölzel , who had held this position for more than 16 years.
