Stefanie Christina Huber (born September 17, 1974 in Linz ) has been CEO of Sparkasse Oberösterreich since January 2020 .

education and profession

Huber attended the Schönering elementary school from 1981 to 1985 and then the Wilhering Collegiate School , where she graduated in 1993. From 1993 to 1998 she studied applied statistics at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. She graduated with honors and the academic degree Mag. A in social and economic sciences.

Stefanie Christina Huber joined the Treasury department at Sparkasse OÖ in 1999. This was followed by management positions in the interest and foreign exchange trading departments as well as balance sheet structure and liquidity management. From May 2015 she was in charge of the Treasury department. On January 1, 2019, Huber was appointed to the Board of Management of Sparkasse OÖ. In June 2019, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer-designate. Since January 2020, Huber has headed Sparkasse Oberösterreich - as the first chairman of the board of an Upper Austrian financial institution.
