Steffen Greubel

Steffen Greubel (* July 1973 in Werneck ) is a German manager in the retail sector. Since April 1, 2019, he has been a member of the Executive Board of the Würth Group based in Künzelsau .

Life

After graduating from high school, Greubel completed an apprenticeship as a banker at HypoVereinsbank in Schweinfurt from 1993 to 1995 . Between 1995 and 2000 he successfully completed his studies in economics at the University of Witten / Herdecke . After graduating, he began his professional career at McKinsey & Company . Here Greubel specialized in the trading sector from 2000 to 2014. In the years 2003 to 2007 Greubel received his doctorate at the chair for corporate management and organization at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg on the subject of "Analysis of the corporate environment in the service sector".

Greubel has been working for the Würth Group since April 1, 2014. As a division manager, he was responsible for the international subsidiaries in Italy , Spain and France . In addition, corporate development was one of his areas of responsibility. Under his leadership, the Italian Würth-Linien company was able to find its way back to successful growth after a crisis situation. Greubel has been a member of the Würth Group's management team since April 1, 2019, and is responsible for the Group's Würth Line companies.
