Steffi Sidney

Steffi Sidney (born April 16, 1935 in Los Angeles , California as Stephanie Skolsky , † February 22, 2010 in Seattle , Washington ) was an American actress and television producer.

Life

She was the daughter of Estelle Lorenz and Hollywood columnist and film producer Sidney Skolsky. Her first marriage to talent scout Leonard Gabe was divorced. In 1985 she married Rick Splaver, changed her name to Steffi Sidney-Splaver and remained married to him until her death. She died of kidney failure at the Swedish Hospital Medical Center Seattle in 2010 at the age of 74 and was buried in Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Los Angeles.

Act

After her training at the drama school in Los Angeles, she had her first film role in the film The Eddie Cantor Story from 1953, produced by her father . She played her most famous role in 1955 at the side of James Dean in the film ... because she don't know what they're doing . The film Hold Back Tomorrow followed in the same year . In later years she worked as a production assistant and television producer, and until 2003 she ran a PR agency in Beverly Hills with her husband.
