Stein is a German-language specialist magazine for natural stone that is published monthly by Callwey Verlag in Munich.
founding
The magazine was founded in 1884 in Grünberg in Silesia under the title Steinmetz und Bildhauer . It is as old as Callwey Verlag, in which the magazine has been published since 1951. She later called herself Stein .
Target group and topics
The trade journal Stein is aimed at the stonemasonry and the natural stone industry, at architects and interior designers , tilers and gardeners and landscapers.
Stein reports on the possible uses of natural stone in construction in interior and exterior construction for facades, stair and floor coverings, bathroom and kitchen design, gardens and parks, sculptures and tombstones.
