Külpmann quarry

The Külpmann quarry is located in Albringhausen , Wetter (Ruhr) . In the quarry was Ruhr sandstone mined. The site was operated by the Külpmann family from 1932. In 2012 the company filed for bankruptcy. A natural stone trader's sales warehouse has been located here since 2013. The quarry wall is a geological outcrop to the Carboniferous Period that still exists today .
