Stones from Pallesen-Tomta

The stones of Pallesen-Tomta standing in a park overlooking the Hafrsfjord in Sør-Sunde in Stavanger in Fylke Rogaland in Norway .

The stones were once at the three ends of a large, triangular treodde . The three arms of the cairn were 20 to 22 meters long. The pebble- stone Treodde was 0.3 meters high. A large flat stone slab was found in the center, probably covering a stone box . There are no known finds from the cairn. The stones are the only remnants of trust. At 1.3, 1.2 and 1.0 meters, they are relatively high, about 30–40 cm wide and 20–30 cm thick. They are aligned in a triangle, but not with the dimensions of the original Treudd.

The rock carvings of Aubeberget are nearby . A stone setting of a similar shape can be found on the hill Stølsberget east of Tananger.
