La Petite Pierre stone row
The row of stones La Petite Pierre ( French Alignement de La Petite Pierre - also called Alignement de la Pierre) is located west of the village of Avrillé near Les Sables-d'Olonne in the Vendée department in France .
The middle menhir , around 5.5 m high, was alone until the 1980s. At that time two more menhirs were discovered during excavations. The two 2.5 meter high stones are located on either side of the large menhir and form a row of stones . All are shaped and their fronts are very flat.
In Avrillé are the menhirs of Bourg-Jardin and the menhirs of la Boitière, other menhirs are in the area.
