Change of position: Job known, foreign country is a docu-soap series on German television. The first season aired on Tuesdays at 8:15 p.m. and the first two episodes of the second season on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. Since episode three of the second season, the docu-soap has been broadcast on Sundays at 3:55 p.m. Season one and the first two episodes of season two were broadcast on Kabel Eins . From February 3, 2013, the remaining episodes of the second season were broadcast on Sat.1 . On September 3, 2013, kabel eins broadcast a special issue for celebrities.
concept
In each episode, two German employees swap their jobs with two colleagues abroad for a week. The candidates continue to practice their profession, but in a different country.
Production, broadcast and audience ratings
When the TV season 2010/2011 was presented by kabel eins , it became known that the new docu-soap Position Change: Job Known, Foreign Country is being produced.
Kabel eins initially only ordered six episodes and these were broadcast on Tuesdays at 8:15 pm from August 2 to September 9, 2011.
When the 2012/2013 TV season was presented by kabel eins, the documentary soap was extended by another season. From September 6, 2012, new episodes of the second season were broadcast on Thursdays at 8:15 pm, but after two episodes the docu-soap was taken off the program due to poor audience ratings.
Sat.1 broadcast the remaining four episodes of the docu-soap on Sundays from February 3 to 24, 2013 at 3:55 p.m.
