Stephan Klossner

Stephan Klossner (born May 30, 1981 ) is a Swiss football referee and canton school teacher in Willisau . He studied and obtained his doctorate in biology at the University of Bern .

Since 2008 he has been directing games in the Swiss Football League on a regular basis . In 2008 he headed the first games of the Challenge League and on August 15, 2010 Klossner made his debut in the Super League by directing the game FC St. Gallen against Grasshopper Club Zurich (1: 2). Klossner has also been a FIFA referee since 2012. Stephan Klossner also chaired the first unofficial international match of the Kosovar football team against a FIFA member on March 5, 2014. On May 25, 2017, he chaired the 92nd Swiss Cup final at the Stade de Genève between FC Basel and FC Sion .
