Stephan Stiefenhöfer (born September 17, 1972 in Cologne ) is a German canoeist in white water sports.

Stephan Stieferhöfer studied business administration at the Fernuniversität Hagen with a degree in business administration . He was trained by Bernhard Verhoef . He originally started out as a canoeing specialist and in a boat with a paddle. Later he also achieved great success in kayaking with double paddles. His sporting successes mainly in the years 2000 to 2010 are numerous, according to his own statements he was twice world champion and 25 times German champion. He has worked as a trainer in recent years, including from Max Hoff . His association is Blau-Weiss Köln .

In addition to his sporting career and his work as a trainer, he runs a shop for water sports supplies in Cologne .
