Stephanus Schmeckler
Stephanus Schmeckler (* around 1600 in Cochem ; † after 1650 accepted there) was a German mayor and state parliament deputy.
Life
Schmeckler about whose school education and career no records are known, signed a settlement from Emperor Ferdinand III on 23 August 1650 together with the Cochem town clerk Petrus Geymer . against the Archbishop of Trier Philipp Christoph von Sötern . The settlement stipulated that the rights and freedoms of the estates would be reinstated and that the land tariffs would be reduced at the same time.
