Stephen C. Singer-Brewster (also Stephen C. Brewster) (* 1945) is an American astronomer .

Between 1985 and 1988 he took part in the Planet-Crossing Asteroid Survey as an observer and astrometer under the direction of Eleanor Helin . He discovered a total of six asteroids and the periodic comet 105P / Singer Brewster .

He had been an active member of the Stony Ridge Observatory since 1983 and was a member of the board there. Until his retirement in 2003, he worked on several projects at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory , most recently on the Europa Orbiter , a planned exploration mission to Jupiter's moon Europa .

The asteroid (10315) Brewster was named after him.
