Steudltenn

The SteudlTenn is an Austrian theater and culture festival that has been held annually in Uderns in the Zillertal since 2011 . In addition to conveying culture in the regional area, theater is at the center of the festival program. The festival venue is a hay barn in the center of the village of Uderns. SteudlTenn is an initiative of the Zillertaler mobilTheater association.

history

SteudlTenn was founded in 2011 by its artistic director Hakon Hirzenberger together with the actress Bernadette Abendstein, the artist Gerhard Kainzner and the social worker Barbara Kainzner-Abendstein.

SteudlTenn initially had 11,000 visitors. (2014) at around 14,500 per year in 2017 and 2018, the theater festival was recognized as the largest “Green Event Tyrol”. SteudlTenn also received a nomination at the “Austrian Green Event Awards” in Mauerbach. In 2019 Steudltenn was recognized as the only "Green Event Tirol Star", this is the highest rating.
