The Lower Saxony Tax Academy (StAkad for short) is an institution under public law of the State of Lower Saxony for the training and advanced training of tax officials for the Lower Saxony financial administration .

The academy

The tax academy was founded in 2006 and arose from the merger of the tax administration faculty of the FHVR of the Lower Saxony state finance school and the advanced training of the OFD Lower Saxony.

Organizationally, these three departments are combined under the umbrella of the central department, but at the two locations in Bad Eilsen and Rinteln .

Locations

The Lower Saxony Tax Academy is based in Bad Eilsen .

Bad Eilsen

At the Bad Eilsen site, there are the specialist theoretical training for middle-class and advanced training. Part of the central area is also located there, as well as a boarding school to accommodate the applicants and the seminar participants. A canteen is also attached and a cafeteria takes care of the guests.

Rinteln

At the Rinteln location there is the department for specialist studies for the senior service. As far as the tasks at this location require, part of the central area is located here. However, the students are housed in private apartments and generally provide for themselves. There is also a cafeteria in the premises of the Lower Saxony Tax Academy.
