Steve Bendelack

Steve Bendelack (* in the 20th century ) is a British director for film and television.

biography

Steve Bendelack was initially assistant to Peter Fluck and Roger Law on the satirical television puppet show Spitting Image and later became the director of the show. Since then he has directed numerous series on British television, including The League of Gentlemen and Little Britain . He briefly produced the opening scene for the 1990s edition of Whose Line Is It Anyway? . He was also the director of the BBC3 pilot for The Mighty Boosh in 2003 , but was later replaced by Paul King. Bendelack has directed three movies to date, of which Mr. Bean's Vacation (2007) starring Rowan Atkinson is best known internationally.
