Steve Kornicki

Steve Kornicki (* 1968 ) is an American composer and music producer.

Steve Kornicki studied composition and music theory with Jeffrey Mumford and guitar with William Peters from 1984 to 1989 at Philadelphia's Settlement Music School . From 1989 to 1995 he was an administrative assistant, technical and musical advisor at the Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy . In addition, he worked from 1988 to 1990 as librarian and curator of the Sol Schoenbach Library of Bassoon Music . Since 1991 he has been running the music publisher Fragmented View Music and a digital music production studio.

From 2000 to 2003 he lived as a composer in Los Angeles, where he worked with musicians from California State University . He composed orchestral and chamber music, electroacoustic music and music for films, television, videos, dance and theater productions. A recording of his orchestral piece Morning Star Rising with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra was released by ERM Media in 2005.
