Steven Erikson
Steven Erikson (born October 7, 1959 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian writer. Erikson has also published some books under his real name, Steve Rune Lundin .
Life
Erikson grew up in Winnipeg , worked as an anthropologist and archaeologist in London for a long time and now lives with his family in Cornwall.
His best-known works are the books of the monumental and successful fantasy epic The Game of the Gods (original title of the series: A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen ). The author spent six years preparing the first book in the series, The Gardens of the Moon . Here a complex world develops with its own magic , its own peoples and its own very old mythology . In 2020 the seventeenth German volume entitled Die Schwingen der Dunkelheit was published.
