Steven Luevano

Steven Luevano (* 3. March 1981 in Los Angeles , USA ) is a former Mexican boxer in the featherweight . He was managed by Cameron Dunkin .

He won all of his 29 fights. On June 21, 2006, he won the WBO- NABO title. In June of the following year he fought against the until then unbeaten Briton Nicky Cook for the vacant world championship belt of the WBO association and won by classic knockout in round 11. He defended this title five times in a row and lost it on January 23 2010 to the previously undefeated Juan Manuel Lopez by technical knockout in the 7th round. After this defeat he ended his career.
