Steven Wong
Steven Wong (born April 28, 1988 in Dessel ) is a former BMX and road cyclist .
Wongs grew up as the son of a Hong Kong Chinese father and a Belgian mother.
He initially devoted himself to BMX sport and won gold medals for Hong Kong at the Chinese National Games in 2008, the East Asian Games in 2009 and the Asian Games in 2010.
He then switched to road cycling and from August 2011 rode for the Champion System cycling team . In 2012, he was tested positive for steroids during a training check and was suspended from the Union Cycliste Internationale for two years for doping . His team said that the substance accidentally got into Wong's body through a medicinal ointment.
