The Steyr 30 is a tractor from the Steyr Plus series from Steyr Daimler Puch . It was built from 1966 to 1970.

In 1966, the existing anniversary series with an orange round engine hood was gradually replaced by the new Plus series, with the Steyr 30 of this series being the first and replacing the Steyr 188 . The water-cooled diesel engine of the type WD 210 with two cylinders and 1.991 l displacement had an output of around 22 kW (30 hp). The transmission had eight forward gears and six reverse gears. The maximum speed was given as 28 km / h.

In contrast to the more powerful models, the Steyr 30 was only available with rear-wheel drive. The cabin was also only available on request.

The body was designed by the French industrial designer Louis Lucien Lepoix .

The tractor was replaced in 1971 by the Steyr 430, which, in addition to the type designation, differed only slightly from the Steyr 30. Almost 6000 copies of the Steyr 30 and Steyr 430 were sold.
