The Stibich (also Stübich) was a volume measure in the charcoal trade in Austria .

The exception was Styria , where after the Innerberger Faß with 5 Metzen or Vorderberger Faß with 4 Metzen was expected. The term stands for barrel and was also called Stiwich.

The Kohlenstibich / Stübisch was introduced as a legal coal measure on December 1st, 1570 .
