The Stiefelbrunnen is a fountain in the Petuelpark in Munich . It was created in 2004 by the Swiss artist Roman Signer . The fountain is part of a two-part fountain system "Two pairs of boots". A pair of rubber boots stands on a gravel bank around which the Nymphenburg-Biederstein Canal flows . A seven meter high fountain shoots out of this pair of boots at irregular intervals. A few meters away there is another pair of rubber boots from which cold air flows in the summer.
