Altenburg Collegiate Church
The Evangelical Lutheran collegiate church is located in the city of Altenburg in the Altenburger Land district in Thuringia .
history
The church was built in 1869 in neo -Gothic style as a church for the Magdalenenstift . The inauguration took place in 1871.
The nave
The building was given a tape measure gable based on the former Brethren Church. The church has arched windows based on the red tips . The main church window has been adorned with Christ the Risen Christ since 1956 . A thorough renovation was carried out from 2004 to 2009.
