Development history

The name giver of today's foundation was the Association of German Officers Association (DOB), which was founded on December 5, 1918 in Berlin. He saw himself as representing the interests of the German soldiers returning home from the First World War in matters of class and economy. In the era of National Socialism the DOB was with other unions into line and disbanded 1,943th In 1952, the Officers Welfare Association (OWG) was re-established, which became the legal successor to the DOB and managed the remaining assets - in the form of real estate.
