The stigma ( Greek neuter στίγμα , Majuskel Ϛ (U03da) , minuscule ς (U03db) ) is a ligature of the Greek letters Σ σ Sigma and Τ τ Tau . According to the Milesian system, it has the numerical value 6. In other literature, the numerical value 6 is assigned the Digamma ϝ (U03dd) . This corresponds to the Phoenician letter Waw ( Waw) and the language sound [⁠ w ⁠] .
