Stilhaus ( spelling : stilhaus) was a shopping and competence center in Rothrist , Switzerland for the subjects of building, living, gardening and design. On around 20,000 m² there were specialist shops from the construction, interior design and furnishing industries, a restaurant, a wine shop, a design exhibition, conference rooms and a garden.
Concept / infrastructure
Stilhaus comprised 100 specialist shops in the areas of building, living and enjoying on four floors. The year-round design exhibition dieForm , which presented contemporary design , was on 3000 m² on the ground floor of the building . In front of the building there was a 3200 m² garden with a residential and pool house. The IOIY's restaurant was also located inside the Stilhaus.

Stilhaus opened on November 30, 2012. Stilhaus AG is 100% owned by owner and CEO Daniel Medina. The building at Rössliweg 48 in Rothrist was run as a "Design Center" by Möbel Hubacher until 2010 and then closed. With the investment by Daniel Medina, the building was re-used and after a year and a half of project and renovation time, Stilhaus was opened with over 130 tenants. The interior designer Gessaga Hindermann designed and implemented the design exhibition “dieForm”, which won the Red Dot Design Award . The design of the entrance area and the restaurant was carried out by the Grego architects around Jasmin Grego and Stephanie Kühnle. The garden was designed by the architects from Daniel Schneider Architects BSLA.
In autumn 2017, the shops were largely closed and on April 3, 2018, a branch of the XXXLutz furniture store was to officially open on the premises . Ultimately, the opening took place in early April.

Stilhaus is on Rössliweg 48 in Rothrist and is on the A1 motorway . Next to the Stilhaus shopping center is the Hubacher furniture store. Vis-à-Vis is the commercial building at exit 46. There are 650 free parking spaces available to customers on the site.
