Voice encryption

The voice encryption is particularly important for the Telecommunications and the police radio . Classical approaches are based on spectral frequency regions of the speech spectrum bijective in the speech spectrum even reflect , from where they can be reconstructed. Newer approaches encode these signals digitally .

The vocoder ("Voice coder") is a further development of the earlier Voder . The vocoder comes from military research and was developed around 1930 in the USA for voice encryption. Today the vocoder is a particularly popular effects device in light music. It connects two input signals, whereby the spectrum of one signal has a shaping effect on the other. With a voice signal and a mixed instrument signal, it is possible, for example, to let a musical instrument “speak”.
