The house at Stobenstrasse 21, 22 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the north-western part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built in the Baroque period around 1700. In later times the property was divided into two pieces of land. In the 19th century, the western part, house number 22, was first plastered. While both parts of the building are largely plastered today, the half-timbering of the eastern part, house number 21, was unplastered at least at the end of the 20th century. The framework has pyramid beam heads and profiled infill wood. Both the stick and the roof threshold are provided with a belt cornice . The entrance, located in the eastern half of number 21, has a classical door frame. Above the door there is a skylight with initials .
