Stoffel and Wolfgang

The TV series Stoffel and Wolfgang of the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR) started in 1965 as a “secret” program for small children and was announced as “for our youngest viewers”. No programs for young children were officially broadcast until 1971 .

The doll Stoffel lived in the apartment of the person Wolfgang . Stoffel acted like a toddler, while Wolfgang embodied the ideal parental world: affectionate, friendly, humorous, understanding and not repressive.
