Fabric stories

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Substance stories are an educational concept that the life of individual substances and materials in the globalized economy traces in narratives. The stories should provide suggestions for a sustainable use of resources , deepen knowledge of material culture and raise awareness of ecological, political and social issues.

The material stories were originally developed and implemented as part of university training, then conceptually further developed in the Environmental Science Center, tested in exhibitions, a book series and in university teaching and transferred to the school context.
