The Stora Bör is a lake in the Swedish province of Värmland . The lake extends over a total area of 14.1 square kilometers and is 157.1 m above sea level. in the municipalities of Årjäng and Säffle . The coastline is 46.4 km. The lake is drained by the Lillälven ( Börkusälven ) watercourse .
Stora Bör has numerous bays and around 80 islands, including Bockön, Fjolön and Geilö. The water is clear and there are good swimming and fishing opportunities. Numerous moose and beavers live in the area . The area is of national importance for nature conservation.
