Stora Kjeringa is an island in the Kvitsøyfjord in the municipality of Kvitsøy in the Norwegian province of Rogaland .
The rocky island extends from southwest to northeast over about 120 meters with a width of up to 80 meters and reaches a height of up to 10 meters. Stora Kjeringa is only sparsely overgrown. To the southwest of the island is the larger island of Eime , only about 90 meters away , with the small archipelago island of Litla Kjeringa in between . To the northeast is the Nodel archipelago .
The island is part of the Heglane og Eime nature reserve .
