Strategy Center Health North Rhine-Westphalia

The North Rhine-Westphalia Health Strategy Center was an institution under Section 14 of the State Organization Act (NRW), was established on June 1, 2009 in the division of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia and dissolved on December 31, 2011. The strategy center was based in Bochum .

tasks

The North Rhine-Westphalia Health Strategy Center was part of the North Rhine-Westphalia Health Campus, which is currently under construction, and covered three core functions:

  • Business service z. B. in funding advice or in settlement issues in the health industry
  • Initiation of cooperations and networks z. B. for health services research, the expansion of international standards or the development of foreign patient markets
  • Initiation of forward-looking projects and initiatives e.g. B. in the management of projects from the sectors eHealth, health promotion or health care

In addition, it was entrusted with the physical development of the local health campus in Bochum and the virtual campus development for the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The North Rhine-Westphalia Health Center , which was founded as a new facility in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia by decree on January 1, 2012, has taken over the tasks .
