Stopes
Strossen is a desert near Ihlewitz in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt . The place was south of today's Strausshof settlement .
history
- In 1180, Archbishop Wichmann von Magdeburg donated the village of Cosne with its tithe, 2 hooves and the bailiwick over the church to the Seeburg Provostry on the occasion of its foundation .
- Heinrich von Rusteleben lived in Strossen around 1260 .
- The donation of goods, including 3 Hufen in Strosne , to the Wiederstedt Monastery at the instigation of the Prioress Mechthild von Arnstein is attested by Hoyer the Elder and Hoyer the Younger von Friedeburg .
- In 1266, Count Burchard von Mansfeld confirmed the sale of a Hufe Land in Strosne by Heinrich von Rusteleben for 13.5 marks to the Helfta monastery .
- Archbishop Albrecht IV enfeoffed Veseke von Westeregeln and his son Ludeke with, among other things, two hooves, two farms in the field and a grass meadow (Graswissche) in Streozsen .
