Stuggi.TV is an online TV station for Stuttgart and the surrounding area, which was founded as a start-up in January 2012. Since then he has published news in video format several times a week on his own website and on the YouTube channel of the same name. The video offer is always available online and is supplemented by regular blog posts and social media posts. With its offers, the station reaches around 100,000 viewers a month.

In 2012, the online channel was awarded the “DeinDing” youth education award and the 2014 Stuttgart citizen award.

Stuggi.TV reports for a main target group from 14 to 29 years in different broadcast formats. The focus of the program is local, daily reporting from Stuttgart and the region. Stuggi.TV offers media workshops with professional video equipment at secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg as part of its “School Tour” project . The program Jugendrat Aktuell reports on current politics and is sponsored by the city of Stuttgart.

history

Stuggi.TV was founded in Stuttgart in 2012 as a start-up company with the concept of offering news from Stuttgart from young editors to a young target group. The first Stuggi.TV editorial office was located in the Jugendhaus Degerloch , and since 2016 Stuggi.TV has been part of the Stuttgarter Jugendhaus gGmbH, based in the Jugendhaus Mitte in Stuttgart. Editor-in-chief and founder is David Rau.

Since 2020, Stuggi.TV has been publishing under a new design, a new logo and on a revised website.
