Jacob Onsrud (born February 23, 1882 in Vestre Toten as Jacob Hanssen , † November 4, 1971 in Østre Toten ) was a Norwegian marksman .
successes
Jacob Onsrud took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in three disciplines in the team competition with the army rifle in the prone position . Over 300 m he finished sixth and just missed a medal win over 600 m in fourth. Over 300 and 600 m combined, he won the silver medal behind the US team and ahead of the Swiss team alongside Otto Olsen , Albert Helgerud , Olaf Sletten and Østen Østensen .
His brother Franke Onsrud was also an Olympic marksman .
