Suganuma (clan)
The Suganuma ( Japanese 菅 沼 氏 , Suganuma-shi ) were an old family of the Japanese sword nobility ( Buke ) from the province of Mikawa , which was derived from the Fujiwara .
genealogy
- Sadanori ( 定 則 ), lord of the Damine Castle (today part of Shitara ), built the Noda Castle (today Shinshiro ) in 1508 . After Matsudaira Kiyoyasu's death , he became a vassal of the Imagawa .
- Sadamitsu ( 定 盈 ; 1542–1602) served the Imagawa and then Tokugawa Ieyasu . He received the fiefdom Aho in the province of Kōzuke with an income of 10,000 koku .
- Sadayori ( 定 仍 ; 1576–1605), son of Sadamitsu, received Nagashima Castle in Ise Province in 1601 with 20,000 koku.
- Sadayoshi ( 定 芳 ; 1587–1643), son of Sadamitsu, was transferred to Zeze Castle in Ōmi Province in 1621 and then to Kameyama Castle in Tamba Province in 1634 . With his death this line became extinct.
