Suhum

Suhum is a place in the Eastern Region in the West African state of Ghana . At the last census of the country on March 26, 2000, 31,044 inhabitants lived in the city. Projections for January 1, 2007 estimate the population to be 36,650. In the 1984 census, 19,298 inhabitants were listed. In 1970 the population was only 12,421.

The city is currently in 40th position on the list of the largest cities in Ghana.
