This is a list of cities in Ghana .
The largest agglomeration in Ghana is Accra with a population of 4,613,600 (as of 2016). This means that 16 percent of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.
The following table contains the cities with a population of more than 40,000, the results of the census of March 1, 1970, March 18, 1984, March 26, 2000 and September 26, 2010. The region to which the Town belongs. The population figures relate to the respective urban settlement in the narrower sense - the geographical urban area - not to the city or municipality in the political sense.
