Nsawan

Nsawan is a place in the Eastern Region in the West African state of Ghana . At the last census of the country on March 26, 2000, 29,986 inhabitants lived in the city. Projections for January 1, 2007 estimate the population to be 34,142. In the 1984 census, 20,439 inhabitants were listed. In 1970 the population was 25,518.

The city is currently in 43rd position on the list of the largest cities in Ghana.
