Suiyuan shidan

Suiyuan shidan ( Chinese  随 园 食 单  - "Menu of the Sui Garden") is a famous cookbook by the Chinese poet and gourmet Yuan Mei (1716–1798).

The book, written in the classical Chinese literary language Wenyan , is extensively commented on in a modern reprint in the Chinese book series of historical cookbooks called Zhongguo pengren guji congkan , partly with a New Chinese translation. It was translated into German in 1940 by Wolfram Eberhard (for the Sinica magazine) and into French by Panking (pseudonym), Beijing in 1924.
