Sulejman Ugljanin (born November 20, 1953 in Kosovska Mitrovica ) has been the president of the Stranka demokratske akcije (SDA) des Sandžak since 1990 . From 2004 to 2008 he was mayor of his place of residence Novi Pazar and from July 2008 to 2014 he was a minister without portfolio in the Serbian government. Since 2014 he has been president of the Bosniak National Council in Serbia.

Ugljanin is married and has four children, three girls and one boy.

After the Serbian parliamentary election on May 11, 2008 , Ugljanin's party, which had run as the Bosniak list for a European Sandžak , agreed to form a coalition government with other Western-oriented forces and the Socialist Party of Serbia .
