Sultan Vais Khan Mausoleum

The Sultan Vais Khan Mausoleum ( Chinese  速 檀 歪 思 汗 麻扎 , Pinyin Sùtán Wāisī hán mázhā ) is the tomb (Mazar) of the ruler Vais Khan (Chinese Waisi han; † 1428) of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate ( Moghulistan ) in Gulja County in the People's Republic of China .

The mausoleum is located in the village of Mazar (Mazha 麻扎 村) on the northern slope of the Awulale Mountains (阿 吾 拉勒 山). Vais Khan ruled from 1418 until his death in 1428. The lower three floors are square, the fourth hexagonal, the building is built in the style of a pavilion of the central Chinese areas.

The Gulja District (Qulja / Yining) of the Kazakh Autonomous District Ili is located in the northwest of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China.

The grave complex has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-294) since 2006 .
