Sultan (dice game)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sultan is a simple stake dice game played with a single dice and a dice cup . There is no limit to the number of players.

Style of play

Sultan is played with a single dice and dice cup.

The game is played in turn. Whoever throws a six first becomes a “ sultan ” and tells all other players which dice number is played as a trump or “sultan's number”. The other players continue to roll the dice and each player who does not throw a trump has to pay a stake, such as a cent, a token or a match, to the sultan. If a teammate throws the trump number, the sultan pays him the same number as the sultan's number. As soon as a teammate rolls a six, he replaces the current sultan and can now determine a sultan's number himself.
