The Sunday News is a national Sunday newspaper in New Zealand . Their distribution area covers all of New Zealand. The editorial office of the newspaper is in Auckland .

history

The origins of the Sunday News go back to 1963, when the paper was first published on October 20th in Auckland . In 1965 Truth (NZ) Ltd. bought the newspaper and published the news from June 6, 1965 simultaneously in Auckland and Wellington . It is not currently known when the newspaper was resold.

The newspaper today

The newspaper delivers powerful news on the topics of sport, motor sports, entertainment and provides information on television programs and job opportunities. The magazine had an average readership of 150,000 in 2014 and is owned by the Australian Fairfax Media Group through a number of company links .
